ignoring people on pk server

Listen guys I know nobody wants to really here it but just do like I did just ignore all of egow and most of the foul language and racist comments are gone.

 

Egow is only like 2 people in 20 alts. so the spam attack trying to get people to quit so just iggie them.

 

Ent on a note please add back default to filter language because comments made by egow would require you to put a NC17 rating on the pk server.

I know the server is not in the USA but because your address for payment is, it would by USA laws require NC17 rating.

 

If you turn the filter to be on by defualt I, you will be able to beat the nc17 ratings laws on games.

This is what gets me the most.

 

The PK server was made so people could kill others and have all the trashtalk they want.

 

I dont agree with the racist stuff (I have never used a racist term in EL period, in main or in PK)

 

I do talk a lot of trashtalk in the PK server and its not because I hate anyone.

 

It makes the PK aspect of the server even more fun.

 

If you cant handle trash talk then you need to go back to the main server where there are rules to abide by.

 

Problem is that too many people take what others say WAY TO PERSONAL!

 

Instead of wining like a baby to Radu then why not hunt us out and kill us or go to McDonalds and play in the ball pit where its much safer.

 

 

*EDIT* The racist comments that were made were by Infection IIRC. Spyridonas informed me about it because Infection is my character. I WAS sharing this character with nubynoob from the main but when informed about the racist things he was saying I #change_pass on him so nubynoob can no longer play on the PK server unless he purchases his own character.

 

On behalf of Infection I appologize that he was being racist(I still have no idea what was said).

But he wont be back on to insult anyone anymore and also Spy kicked him from the guild once it was found out.

 

eGow does not support anyone who would act in this disrepectful manner and are only in the PK server to have fun with the others who like PK.

Its not my fault that you feel I/we were "trying to get you to quit". That is not the case. It was all for the trashtalk baby! Like I said before. . .

Its amazing that you can say that when everytime someone talks to us they call us "fags" and other things but as soon as we reply we become the bad ones.

For the most part, the trash talk is very little. It would be nice if people would refrain a bit from the over vulgur. I have only seen 2 occasions of talk I wouldn't want my mother or my children to see. If we want to promote the pk server, we should all show a little maturity, and a little commen sense over these debates.

I can agree after reading the chat logs that the trashtalk got really strong. But it wasn't meant to be personal to anyone. These chatlogs are over a period of time. It is not always like this. For the most part the PK server is peaceful.

 

Anyone who knows me in the main server know I don't talk like that to anyone. Rember that in the PK server when your fighting other players that people get caught up in the moment with what they say and do.

 

But I don't really hate lonewolfe because I do not know him IRL to make that decision.

It was never meant in the text that it was taken. I was caught up in the moment of the PK server and was clueless to a lot that was said. But I am not that kind of person that would insult someone that I don't know IRL. I don't HAVE TO be vulgar to trash talk but really only got caught up in a moment. I can agree to pay more attention to what I say to people why trashtalking and not let my toungue lead the way

I used to play the pk server. Mostly I stopped cuz there weren't enough fun people to play with. But the number of extremely immature people talking, not trash but total crap, to me certainly didn't help. I have a tendency to take such things personally, so I decided I wasn't really cut out for the pk server. Its a shame, because I do really like the added element of risk and excitement over there, in fact I like everything about it BUT the extreme immaturity of the most vocal players. I think that a lot of experienced main server players would really like it too, but be turned off for the same reason I was. The immature trash talkers (as opposed to the mature trash talkers ) are killing the PK server all by themselves by being the biggest possible idiots they can. And why... just cuz... they can.

 

Sure, I could have #ignored all those people, but I can't ignore the entire atmosphere of the pk server, which has been infected with this kind of extreme immaturity. Good luck to everyone still playing there!

As an outsider (non pk server) looking in, imo he did right in posting here, not so much for the content of the trashtalk, but as a warning to pk server players to think before they speak. Its all very well having no moderation but a little bit of self control is a good thing if you want the server to grow and prosper, because not everyone wants to hear that kind of childish trashtalk. ( thats what Xbox live is for )

Its all very well people saying " If you dont like it , go play on the main where there is moderation" but surely you want as many players as you can ?, to a degree the success of the pk server is down to its players and how they act, and if they force players to leave with over the top immature trashtalk, they only have themselves to blame if the server fails.

 

 

note: I personally have no problems with trashtalk, but come on be a little bit more original than " ya momma " comments

First of all, I totally agree with you here Lonewolfe. Some of the stuff that a few selected people say is utterly rude and inappropriate. Its not about beeing caught in the moment, thats a BS reason to hide behind. Some people when allowed to say fuck, gets a lil too happy about and keep going in that same old track. Why dont you get caught up in the moment like that on the main server then? Own up to it, be mature, and change your behavior!

 

Ive witnessed some of this crap coming from egow, mostly the same few peoples doing it, egow still have some more mature people that know how to act. Insulting me, my mom, and in some cases my wife, is NEVER about thrashtalking and having fun, its about beeing a degenerate fuck (giggles, i had a lot of fun typing that).

 

PK server wasnt established to my knowledge so we could trashtalk eachother without any moderating. I honestly believe it was made so we had a server that was mainly PK, and where 4 years of prior playing made it impossible for newer players to stand a chance in PK. We wouldnt need the 10000+ hours of training, it was gonna be about PK!
