Issue 1 - I can't turn on water shader quality. I assume it's because my graphics card is to old and it's not supported.

Issue 2 - When I do into the Portland Library and just stand still, the room is shifting up/down a couple time a second. That is the whole image is shifting up a couple inches, then down, then up. Makes it very hard to click on the door to escape.

Issue 3 - When standing in front of the Portland Library the ground is briefly flashing black several times per second. As I walk West towards the fruit stand (just as I pass the edge of the library) it stops. Walk East and get in front of the library it starts up again.

Issue 4 - Frame rate is very low (<15) and that's with only one client running. I normally run 2-3 with frame rates in the 20+ (capped at 30).

I decided to not explore farther at this point.

No luck with shaders named/renamed

dl'd a debugger http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/devtools/deb...installx86.mspx

identical for with & without shaders renamed, results consistent over multiple runs

This is outstanding!

The evtr cave crash is gone.

The animations are extremely smooth (wtg schmurk)

Fighting, walking are very smooth.

Map changes are very fast and smooth, seemless like a story book turning a page.

still testing but no problems so far

and beyond thrilled with the improvements. :icon13:

1st try crashed again exactly as before, on login. With /shaders renamed, login is successful, no crashing. Please dont tell me this means I need a new graphics card, mine was very good only a year ago! :icon13:

Yes, I am as thrilled as you are with the new animations, Schmurk did an outstanding job!

It works now. Cannot interact with players/NPC but can harvest and enter buildings.

Will turn poor man off and experiment a little.

I like the feature that I can see which char and which server I am playing at :icon13:

Video card is Intel 910 GML express chipset integrated video card (claims 96 MB memory).

Changing the shaders folder worked. As far as I know, I have the updated drivers. (Just downloaded a couple days ago)

Ok, so its not crashing, but I cant seem to interact with anything. I cant click on players or NPCs to talk or trade, I can't attack anything. When I cycle through the cursors I get walk, look, and use. Clicking on the icons at the bottom still doesnt allow me to interact with people, NPCs or creatures.

Edit 1: I updated my drivers 2 days ago, although the newest driver specifically for the GeForce Go 7600 is a year or so old.

Edit 2: I can harvest.

No, it's not too old, but Nvidia has sucky drivers. All the nvidia cards had this problem until their latst driver release, but it seems that the Go cards didn't get the update :/

Now, try this: Rename the shaders folder back, and remove all the .vert files. Then see if the water works (make the qater quality 2).

Yes!! thats very very cool :P I wish I could see the rest though, is nvidia likely to fix the Go cards issue? I'd be very happy to send them an angry email if you tell me what I should say :icon13:
