Relaunch/Kickstart PK server

Recommended Posts

I think the pk server should be marketed as a new game. Create a website just for the pk server and give it a similar but new name. Then place it in the mmorpg websites and do some marketing and you should get some more players. However you would also need a automated account creation system and a improved tutorial for the pk server.

This is a good business decision as you can then start taking players off other games and making them play the pk server whereas at the moment your trying to steal players from another server. This would then make the pk server successful without any consequences to the main server. The marketing of the pk server might be hard though since it would require players to advertise or money spent on advertising.

You might get some total noobs this way but its a full pk server so you can deal with them if they become annoying.

A seperate website and new name would only weaken the game as a whole. Having an option to choose between the two servers, whether it's seperate icons or a menu before the login screen, would help more. Plus some marketing on the website and on other sites.

I just started on the PK Server again, with a new character, and it seems to be alot better now, there are some more people online, and a lot more faces around. :) Glad to see it's finally getting there, although it could still do with some more players. :P so get ya ass there for some real fun. :)
