Sir Christo Report post Posted February 22, 2008 (edited) Can anyone tell me how much emu a blessing gives a bot?? EDIT: Can anyone give me a URL For a programming guide for EL bots? Edited February 22, 2008 by Sir Christo
LabRat Report post Posted February 22, 2008 Each $100 blessing adds 500 P/C to the bot, which makes 10,000 EMU. For technical reasons* the maximum number of blessings you can have is 6, for a total of 60,000 EMU. *EMU is sent from the server in a 16 bit value, the most it can hold is 65535, the nearest lower 10,000 number to this is 60,000. You can add a little more space with neg perks, levelling etc. -------------------- As for websites with bot programming guides, there are some - Placid's wiki springs to mind. Programming bots is fun, but one silly mistake and your bot may get banned, exploited, muted or any number of other Bad Things. I recommend finding a friendly person with existing bot code and talking to them very nicely. The best place to start with bot coding is examining the client code and working out how the information is sent to/from the server so you are on a firm ground before you begin. The benefit of this is that 99% of the available features are already coded into the client so you just need to read the existing code to have working source.
