Is this a bug? Or did I miss something?

I went to the Zirakinbar bookseller to buy a frying pan book.

I paid my 8k gc..it left my inventory. The book did NOT go into my inventory. I tried the npc again but he just wanted to sell me more books. I looked around. Didn't see a drop bag so I left the shop. When I left a msg came up "don't forget your books"

 

What did I miss???

 

 

A guildie of mine went to the same npc and bought the same book... he got it in his inv. Oh and in case it makes a difference.. I do not have the antisocial perk

only because i was trying to help with this problem cani say inventory was not near full i had no problem buying it but did not get message dawench did about forgetting your books
