Entropy Report post Posted December 16, 2007 An alternate option may be to save the file like this. Open NotePad using Open then paste http://www.eternal-lands.com/extentions.xml Choose save as extentions.xml Move to proper EL folder. Windows Explorer/IE pretty much work the same like that. Suggestion. Reply if it worked for you. No, this is not the best way to save it. You need to save the XML tags as well, not just their content.
Florian Report post Posted December 17, 2007 A note to the Mac users: we already have this file No need to download it.
Dwildul Report post Posted December 18, 2007 A note to the Mac users: we already have this file No need to download it. Using an Apple Mighty Mouse I right-clicked on the link in Entropy's post and clicked the Download Linked File option from the pop-up menu. Next I searched for extensions.xml using Spotlight. Get Info on the 2 copies of this file showed that there was an increased byte count and a newer creation date, so I overwrote the older extensions.xml file with the newer (and larger) file. Hope this file is now doing what it was designed to do, and is sending the required data back to the server!
extrapolation Report post Posted December 18, 2007 i only get 15 fps these days so im buying a new graphics card. once ive done that is there some way i can poke this file to send the info again later?
Entropy Report post Posted December 18, 2007 Not in this version, unless if you remove some configuration file (not sure which one exactly, need to ask around).
bkc56 Report post Posted December 22, 2007 Once we've run the client with this config file in-place (so the information has been sent) should we delete it from the EL directory? I mean, there's no reason to leave it is there?
