This is a very preliminary test, not everything works, not all the adjustments are done. You must create a new character there, nobody exists otherwise. I think he means when he clicks done the second time on the char create screen EL closes. same thing happening to me, just figured my transaction to buy the char wasnt processed yet. You don't change el.exe, you start the client with the additional parameter of pk. Under Linux and Windows, that invovles making a new shortcut and assin a space and pk outside of the quotes to the end of the commands line. Chryzopraz Report post Posted December 11, 2007 IIRC the command is #stats Exactly. #stats shows you how many players are connected. On the main server it's next to useless because of the bots. Enly: I don't know how things work on mac, but if you can open a console, go to the fodler/directory where EL is installed, and start the client with pk in the command line. Yes, write something in the message line there like "account XXX on PK server". Works like charm, it took radu less than one hour to activate my account Then you have to make a new char there with the name mentioned in that message line and thats it. extrapolation Report post Posted December 12, 2007 (edited) one "bug" - youre forced to read the rules at the beginning which are the same as the main server rules i think we need rule 5 to be clarified for PK server, even if only on the forums #edit - another bug maybe - iirc IP and its insides were supposed to be safe. the secret basement in the tavern is PK #edit2 - another bug - you can beam in PK maps which arent pk on main, eg votd, but cant beam on pk maps which are also pk on main, eg KF Edited December 12, 2007 by extrapolation Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

As for the rules, that's because of the client, the rules are different on the PK server: 1. Don't macro 2. Don't be really nasty (especially on channels) 3. No unapproved clients. 4. Don't try to hax people. Rules that apply on the main server but don't apply here: 1. Multiplaying is OK. 2. You can go off topic on the channels, unless until there are like 100+ players playing at once. 3. More permissive language. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
