PaulB Report post Posted November 28, 2007 (edited) So I logged on and this is what I see. This is in PL storage that I took these screens. Please look and let me know what may be causing this. SYSTEM SPECS: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.53GHz 2.52GHz, 1024 MB of RAM Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2 NVidia GeForce 5700LE 256 MB RAM ***BEGIN EDIT*** So I changed the settings from 1024x768x32 to 1024x768x16 and then right back to 1024x768x32 again and the problem "went away". But when I open Eternal Lands from my desktop I get this weird "box" around my mouse pointer in-game and I have to do that "switch" (x32-x16-x32 again) to get it to go away. I grabbed the latest updated drivers for my graphics card but I would still like to try to figure out what it is that is happening and possibly how to fix it without all the "switching". ***END EDIT*** Edited November 28, 2007 by Paul Brown
Entropy Report post Posted November 28, 2007 Changing from full screen to window or the other way around causes this problem. Once you restart the client, you should be ok.
Learner Report post Posted November 28, 2007 A bad video driver + using Compiled Vertex Objects can cause this also.
