What should I do? (problems with the new version)

I can't really get the problem... What have I done wrong? It seems that from line 3 to the end there is no problem, and that line 2 fixes line 1. So, what's wrong with my client?

Does EL run OK, or are you having problems? I don't see anything in the error log that looks like it would prevent the client from running.

Sorry, I was too sad that it doesn't work that I forgot to write the most important thing.

 

The game crashes after I click on Log In, sometimes when the blue bar is still empty and sometimes when it's full.

 

 

I couldn't see any problem in the error_log.txt too, so any other suggestion what could be the problem?

Did you try to start Eternal Lands again later? Is the error_log.txt different now?

I'm getting exactly the same error. I can login, but that's about it. FSP on the right, says 1.

It is like you get stuck in the screen just after the login.

I tried to get rid off all old files, but it still doesn't work.

I've tried it many times. I had other problems before, but they fixed themselves (things needed to be downloaded, and now they are).

 

Do you at least have any direction? I can't see why would it happen to me and not to others (I've installed it in the right place and everything).

The first thing I'd suggest is to read this thread: http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.p...8739&st=20#

 

Especially my post were I talk about verifying where #data_dir in your el.ini points.

 

You might also remove your private data (typically C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\My Documents\Eternal Lands) and let the client re-create it. Entropy has suggested that to people and sometimes it's fixed issues.

 

Also verify that whatever icon/short-cut you're using to start EL is pointing at the correct location (not an old version you haven't deleted yet).
