There was a brief but hilarious discussion recently on channel 4 along these lines which reminded me of a thread in a PC game forum, Empire Earth I think, where players were comparing the game to reality. Here we were laughing over things like dead canaries in the mines, dirty faces, bleeding wounds... etc. Try it, here's a boost........ Why is it no matter how many rostogols I find, my face is still grumpy? I'm half his size, how come my iron plate fits him? If EL were RL, my sock drawer would be full of gold bars!
