Well that forum is for us to discuss how our bots got scammed or attacked etc, and provide fixes and assistance for the other bot owners. What would you do with a private forum? Discuss how to kill your most hated harvesters??... o.O That said, I do see how and why you would use a fighters forum as there certainly are lots of fighting threads around, it just doesn't really balance. There aren't forums for the other skills. Are you suggesting there should be? I expect people would complain about how EL is turning into a fighting game, even though there isn't really much that specialists of the other skills would discuss on the forums (that I can think of). Chosen Report post Posted July 29, 2007 I see your point, and like you said there isn't really alot other Skills would use a Forum for, maybe for discussing the Ings, but Fighters could discuss quite alot. Maybe a Forum for each skill may be a good idea? I don't see why it wouldn't. Something like: Eternal Lands Skills - Fighting - Alching etc etc etc.. Could be useful, IMO. Scorpius Report post Posted July 29, 2007 i like the idea.. just remembering how often i get asked what monster is next to kill, what stats someone should take to get best exp outta monster. it shouldnt be only pointing at pk but also on helpful informations. dont think its a bad idea to create new section for every skill as there are quite much asked questions. Often ppl check forums and its not so easy to find infos about for example fighting, especially if some1 search not for specific word but for more general info and advices/news/current situation. It would also help ppl that begin adventure with eL, they would see for example a fighting section and would go there to find out something about this particular skills(training a/d, pking, making money as a fighter, which atributes/perks r good for a fighter and which r not so good, how to regain oa 100+ in 3 weeks after u reseted having a/d for fluff etc). mp Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

As it was posted in a thread talking about something else i could not find it again, so could not direct my guildies to it when they asked about a/d/p/c needed for particular monsters. What happens when the topic is an overlap of 2 or more skills? Such as the never ending question of summons in pk arenas for example. 2. In all fairness, all skills should have a section, but i don't see that adding 9 different sections will do anything but bloat the forums and make things even harder to find. Some of the skills just aren't controversial or developed enough to warrant an entire section. Any possible suggestions on combining skills? 3. I might play around with it, *might*...however even if I did, everybody would have to be aware it would be subject to change AND most importantly, subject to Roja's approval when she gets back (if I get to it before she does). Hmm, thats true, maybe, Harvesting could be combined with Alchemy, or something, because theres not really a need for a Harvesting section, but it is part of Alchemy, also part of every other non-fighting skill. Crafting & Manu could also be put togeather, or Manu/Craft & Eng. And I'm not too sure on potion, weither or not it would be a big thing to discuss on forums. 3. I might play around with it, *might*...however even if I did, everybody would have to be aware it would be subject to change AND most importantly, subject to Roja's approval when she gets back (if I get to it before she does). It could always be tested/deleted if it's not used as much as it could be, but its up to Roja/Ent and you guys to see if it will help. I think it will, and hope it will be added. I have a question or two about it aswell, I know it will follow all the Forum Rules if it does get put onto Forums, but would people be able to post places/locations of ingame items/minerals/spawns?
