plainlofa Report post Posted June 29, 2007 Then why not just make ogre toes harder to harvest? Like dung.
fyrrflyy Report post Posted June 29, 2007 You dont get it...Mana/Health is not the same as food points. Trying to replicate the IEDP for either will ruin fighting/pk/magic training.
freeone3000 Report post Posted June 29, 2007 That is a short-term solution - why are not monster magnetism cloaks as rare as they were when they were added? Because more people can now kill orcs and up. Making items more advanced will not make them rarer. Nevermind that ogre toes are already used in potions of extra mana, and making those more expensive will just make them even more unused.
nicky Report post Posted June 29, 2007 Perhaps you could create more balance in this idea if there were a random chance at some type of repercussions. pay 3pp and 10k for ieot perk make ogres toes increase ether points by 3, not 10 make eating ogres toes have a 6% chance of kicking off one of the following random effects: cooldown a random cooldown item in inventory OR 25 radiation dmg OR lose 10 ether points IMO this would balance it out and still make it useful. People would use SRS and augment with ogres toes for those extra few ether points to cast a spell.
plainlofa Report post Posted June 30, 2007 Umm that would be a pretty good idea. But I would say at least increase etheral points by 5. Plain

cho-yun Report post Posted July 5, 2007 (edited) how about versions of i eat dead people. one for food and one for mana. You cant get both perks of course but the mana one cost alot more than the food version can do the same with health i'd say 10 food, 4 mana and 2 health Edited July 5, 2007 by cho-yun
