An issue arose a few nights ago with g0d needing someone to compile a windows client.

I stepped up and helped out, but he was also looking for different compiler builds (gcc and ms).

I've now built my windows environment, thanks to emajekral's great instructions and hand made packages.

I am also considering trying to help 0ctane and building a Mac VMware client... however, this may be impossible.

/edit: Apparently it is impossible (or *very* difficult) as I only have an AthlonXP, and you need a processor with SSE2. Damn. There is an option to build it within QEMU, but I don't know how much that will support (3d environment etc).

Sometimes I compile my patches on windows, but not too often any more. I use the dev-cpp route.
