1.4.0 Map Bugs

it's MUCH MUCH easier to fix bugs if all I have to look at are coordinates in posts, instead of clicking to open each picture then zooming in to read what's on it...

I modified my original post. I have a brief description and the location as best as I could provide. Some of them are lacking the exact coords because I forgot to click my compass or it was not possible to get those exact coordinates.

You are in Palon Vertas [268, 127] and have found an object conflict bug. As your view changes the plank of the dock at your feet flickers back and forth, and you realise that two objects are 'fighting' to be seen.

 

(at the coordinate given, the conflict occurs between you and the coordinate directly south. It also stretches one coordinate to the east and west.)

Half the floor is gone. It is just pitch black.

Tarsengard outside at about 149,279 shows a funny reflection of the bridge.

You can see through the bottom of it.

In this case, there are two ants on it, so we can see the bottoms of their feet.

I'm in Isles of the Forgotten but the continent map in the corner shows Seridia instead of Irilion.

Aeth Aelfin main map, 236, 96 (coords for a statue). I can walk through it, stand where it is, rather than walking around it.

Aeth Aelfin main map, 225, 222 (coords for a rock). I can walk through it, stand where it is, rather than walking around it.

I have written a small Python script that removes the bad lights (and other objects that are way out of range for normal use) from the map. I haven't tested it yet, though, so I'll try to do that tonight and post a link. (BTW, I strongly suspect that if you'd read the bytes that define such a bad light, you'd find the beginning of a messed up particle system).

 

EDIT: crap, that's gonna be at least tomorrow...

Two rocks seem to be "upside down" in Sedicolis [cont2map3.elm].

 

The first one is around [68, 167]:

At the palon vertas entrance in Zirakinbar I get unbelievable lag, meaning I cannot do anything, and have to log off this computer and onto my more powerful machine to move away from it... Basically my fps goes to 1 and there seems to be bright grass around, which I think is the course...

 

No other place have I experienced this yet, the closes being Iscalrith storage, but there I can just move around where as here I literately cannot do a thing!!

 

EDIT: the same area makes my faster machines fps drop from 61 to 32 :s

Arius - Arius Mines [244, 251] , noticed while harvesting Gypsum.

 

While sitting on a bag harvesting gypsum, I noticed my bag and I were hovering a fair distance above the ground.

 

[these coords are on the tracks so you would be above the ground but not much]

Yep, I have the same lag problem with this grass (I think it's caused by the shadows of the grass, because insides with grass doesn't have this problem). When i'm running through kusamura my FPS drops to 6-7 while it is capped to 40 normally.

Mining silver in Wyrmgoth Underground (AA) a teleport nexus took me to 239,202. Stuck up there, unless there's a way down that I wasn't able to find.

I was exploring the irsis map, when i came upon holes such as: irsisglitch.jpg

in the rocks. I have found a few.

Hi there, I was Harvesting the White Asiatic Lilly in NORDCARN around [9,95].

Then I got teleported into the mountain, [0,82]. :D

I had to beam as I was not prepared.
