BlueJay Report post Posted May 22, 2007 Hi, Background: I'm currently in South Africa and using a 3G provider called Vodacom. Now if I use their equipment and telnet into game.eternal-lands.com 2000, I get nothing returned. If I telnet into port 2001 I get the test server message. So Using the EL client, I can play on the test server but not on the live one. I have been in contact with the techies at Vodacom and they have been looking into the problem for me. The can duplicate the problem, but are now asking how to contact the sys admins. Here is the message they sent: We can duplicate your problem but are battling to find the cause. If possible we need to speak to the sys-admin of this site. Do you have contact details or know how we can get hold of them? The guy I've been dealing with is Jannie and his email I can PM to you if you need it. Regards BlueJay

BlueJay Report post Posted June 1, 2007 (edited) *UPDATE* Here is an email I received from the techie: I have already implemented the workaround in the Cape Town area – not sure where you are physically located – but it should be working within the greater (Eastern and Western) Cape Region I am hoping to complete the rest of the country by the end of the day… will let you know. So just a BIG thanx Entropy for helping out. Regards BlueJay Edited June 1, 2007 by BlueJay
