Whats your Rig?

Recommended Posts

I play EL on my old 2003 Gateway comp, I would play it on my nice comp, (custom dell, not sure on any specific details but it cost a lot of money so i guess its pretty good).

Anyway, I dont play on my nice comp cause I have a theory that EL gives you viruses in some way or another, not sure tho, but ever since I downloaded it onto my gateway everythings been running slower.

Ya, and pigs fly out of my butt

Sorry, I watched Wayne's World last night and the sentiment seemed perfect.

Do you have a firewall?

Do you have antivirus?

Do you have an adware scanner?

Do you have a spyware scanner?

Do you have adware?

Do you have spyware?

Do you have a 2003 copmputer?

Did you install XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows ME on it?

Every one of those will directly impact your PC's speed, and the effect is cumulative.

The client is open source.. with all the collaborative programming, don't you think someone would have noticed this:

void slowdown_gateways(Uint32 slowdownrateinseconds)
{
if(checkbiosidstring("Gateway"))
{
	pretend_to_play();
	sleep(slowdownrateinseconds);
}
}

z0mgz0rz!! I r 1337! I grepped for it, and there it was, right in imaginarycode.c line 1337

How could we have all missed that?!?

What do I play on?

By network name:

PC3

AMD sempron 3300+, 1024 MB DDR2 RAM, GeForce 6600V+ 512MB DDR2/PCI Express, 250GB HDD, 80GB HDD, digital TV, analogue TV

Shell

AMD sempron64 2800+, 1024MB DDR RAM, GeForce4 440MX 256MB/AGP 8x, 160GB HDD

Downstairs

AMD Duron (around 850), 512MB RAM, ATI Radeon (something AGP) 256MB, 80GB HDD

Jay

Intel Pentium 4 2.93GHz, 512MB RAM, ATI Radeon X300 AGP Express 256MB, 200GB HDD

I'd take pictures but my internet connection has died, and I am currently connecting using my mobile phone (for bragging rights it is a Nokia N95), I don't want to run up too massive a bill waiting for the cable guy :P

PC3 is what I class as *my* PC, for my exclusive "do anything" use.

Three were self build boxes, Jay was a HP Imedia 1902
