sparhawk, you don't get it. tiny changes like that are nothing compared to the giant changes caused naturally by changes in the sun intensity, volcanic activiy, and a number of other things that can cause temperature changes. Show me the chart over 50 million years, and you'll see that the changes occuring today are well within historical tolerances of life on this planet.

Yeah, it's warm and cozy in Bucharest, but not so in Moldova for example.

Here it's 6th of March, and it's supposed to be a nice, spring weather. But it's -15C out there, cold like hell (metaphorically speaking).

 

Now, I usually don't agree with the [neo]cons such as Rush Limbaugh about anything, except for the global warming.

All the fossil fuel we are burning was, at some point in time in our atmosphere, no? This is how it became coal and oil. So if at that time life was possible, it should be possible in the future too, even if we put all the carbon back in the atmosphere.
