Alchemy Bug

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have been working on alchemy for quite often the past 2 weeks. I feel like this really should be posted, it is not a flame.

I have alch'ed quite a bit in the past 2 weeks:

Alch.jpg

and I have noticed a change in the way I alch, in that I fail alot.

For the past 2 weeks I have been failing more and more, and the reason I initially posted this was because my last HE load, I failed 1/5 HE in 5/6 fp's.

Yet even worse, 2 days ago failing 3 FE in a row.

I was failing less at lvl 60, and it has been downhill.

I am now level 67, working towards the top, and I would like to see a change in my fails for the better.

**Please, any alchers who might have experienced this please post comments**

I have talked on channels about this problem and many have agreed with me.

I know there has been some posts about this "Bug" before, and I would like to bring it before you once again.

I would like to see myself become a better alchemist, but as I grow levels I only become worse.

Best Regards,

Knight

With current alch of 102, here are approximate fail rates on the things I alch most

Steel Bar 1/500

HE 1/150

LE 1/200

FE 1/75

Hydro Bar 1/142.

Wolfram Bar 2/57.

The last two numbers are exact. The others are averages.

Yes, it doesn't make sense. Yes, it's been talked about before. That's just the way it is.

#edit: added hydro & wolfram bar :icon13:

#edit2: The FEs are also really inconsistent, more than the others. Some days I make as many as 1k without failing, some days I fail 4 times in 50 ess.
