bregi Report post Posted January 6, 2007 *gives anyone a hug* no luck from eastern europe either... I can't tell why north west europe and the uk can't connect, I couldn't find any down server there... but it might be the problem is spreading as other routers have to take the weight of the four out of service servers in germany... bregi Report post Posted January 6, 2007 (edited) in the line of hop 13, is that a typo? the first ping being 1334ms? else this doesn't look too bad... only this trace is not a trace that origins at your home if you are in the uk... the first servers there are all located in the us... it origins at the server of nwtools.com thanks for trying to help though edit: try what I suggested here: I use a small tool to do it, if I find it hosted I'll post a link, else you can at least try go to the console in windows and type 'tracert game.eternal-lands.com' it'll give you some info though not much... edit: found another tool that looks, feels and does very much the same, available for win and linux on sourceforge.net: http://winmtr.sourceforge.net/ Edited January 6, 2007 by bregi

bregi Report post Posted January 6, 2007 the second one has the same problem that my server trace had... looping between a couple of servers... in your case *.154 *.153 and *.150 ... there's no help to that... your first one didn't touch any german above.net server apart from 62.4.64.13 (the one with the ge1-16.mpr2.*) and this one is fine... the range of 64.125.23.* is the problematic... I'm still trying to find out what number of servers above has in that range and where...
crypt1c Report post Posted January 6, 2007 I live on the East Coast and it hit me in Michigan along with several people I know, including Texas, New York and New Jersey.
