*gives anyone a hug*

no luck from eastern europe either... I can't tell why north west europe and the uk can't connect, I couldn't find any down server there... but it might be the problem is spreading as other routers have to take the weight of the four out of service servers in germany...

I use a small tool to do it, if I find it hosted I'll post a link, else you can at least try go to the console in windows and type 'tracert game.eternal-lands.com'

it'll give you some info though not much...

edit:

found another tool that looks, feels and does very much the same, available for win and linux on sourceforge.net:

mine is ge1-16.mpr2.fra1.de.above.net [62.4.64.13]

hm, I can trace that one, but there's one in front of it I can't get the name or ip of ;(

sorry guys, no news, only that the problem seems to spread... I found three more servers of above.net to be unbearably slow or offline (two in germany one in france)... I'll keep looking out for statements of above.net and I'll look for any other info I can get with what little resources I have...

in the line of hop 13, is that a typo? the first ping being 1334ms? else this doesn't look too bad... only this trace is not a trace that origins at your home if you are in the uk... the first servers there are all located in the us... it origins at the server of nwtools.com :D

thanks for trying to help though :devlish:

edit:

try what I suggested here:

the second one has the same problem that my server trace had... looping between a couple of servers... in your case *.154 *.153 and *.150 ... there's no help to that... your first one didn't touch any german above.net server apart from 62.4.64.13 (the one with the ge1-16.mpr2.*) and this one is fine... the range of 64.125.23.* is the problematic... I'm still trying to find out what number of servers above has in that range and where...

I live on the East Coast and it hit me in Michigan along with several people I know, including Texas, New York and New Jersey. So it may have been a server problem with their host :> Or back to my idea of the end of the world of wide spread internet problems :>

hello

seems that even the connection from ffm decix to above.net is affected

traceroute to game.eternal-lands.com (62.93.225.47), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets
1 internet.lan (192.168.1.XXX) 0.492 ms 0.781 ms 0.238 ms
2 lo0.gw2.ffm5.h-tel.de (83.242.32.252) 1480.859 ms 102.234 ms 95.506 ms
3 f-0-0-1.ffm5.h-tel.de (83.242.32.1) 93.159 ms 446.167 ms 767.840 ms
4 decix.ffm.upstream.de (62.111.127.227) 1535.762 ms 2289.963 ms 776.606 ms
5 a-0-0-0.cr1.ffm1-1.upstream.de (62.111.71.78) 681.816 ms 91.913 ms 95.911 ms
6 * * *
7 pos-9-2.mpr2.cdg9.fr.above.net (64.125.23.202) 242.463 ms * *
8 * * *
9 * * *
10 * * *

first is as the name already indicates a local router. As you can see the first above.net server hasn't been reached at first trie
