Roja Report post Posted December 17, 2006 Ok so I always had it in my mind that the EL diamond logo just wasn't very interesting. On top of that it was done pretty sloppily and needed to be fixed up. But I always had my eye on the little blue dragon circle icon that was in the old phpbb forums, and that I now placed in this new forum design as well. So with that idea I came up with a logo to replace the diamond logo, but I'm not sure about it, maybe we should jsut keep the diamond logo?.. so I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions on it! It's like the horses on the reply buttons while there actually are no horses in the game (except the unicorn). It feels like advertising something that isn't in the game. Sistema Report post Posted December 17, 2006 An icon change would be great! Imo, if we want new people to try out the game, we need something that is attractive, something interesting. So I'm voting for the dragon - just the dragon. The others look to confusing and busy (like Roja said) especially when their smaller. We need something that will *SMASH* the player when they see it . But overall, I really like the design and shape of the dragon. Im with Aislinn on this, I like the dragon, but I think it needs just a little more spark. It is a bit dark, could you maybe use the 2 tones to define features instead of making it a shadow? Or maybe add some red flame coming out of the mouth? Also, I like the older style of the EL font better, the new one with the rounded corners looks kind of modern to me.
