Seeing how it's easy to find the city I live in Via Myspace, I'm not worried about reveling my location.

 

Download Google Earth.

 

Zoom all the way in, without rotating anything.

 

What city do you get? MINE!

 

 

Google Earth, software that allows the user to "fly" over the surface of the earth, mapped with high-quality satellite photography and accurate topographical data, has a default position when started up that is centered exactly on the town of Lawrence (specifically, on an apartment building lying between Compton Square and Regency Place). This may be verified by running the software and zooming in from the default start position without rotating the virtual globe at all. This location was set by Brian McClendon, a 1986 graduate of the University of Kansas and now a director of engineering at Google. - Wikipedia

That's really cool.

Google earth is so fun to play around with.

I tried finding my old neighborhood in Waldorf, MD... but it just gets blurry right before my house.

I DID notice, however, a blue tarp over a house near mine.

It was from when this kid burnt his house down from trying to smoke and get high from parsley

He threw the ashes in the trashcan in his room and it caught fire and moved along to some kind of wood chips he had for his snake cage.

Good times....

If anyone wants to see the house I'm talking about, set it to the satellite map and type in 'seal place waldorf maryland'. Slowly zoom in to where the green arrow is and the house will be slightly south east of it.

 

You must be really bored to want to check though o.o
