That looks like a 10 year-old Julia Roberts!

I'll never look at a watermelon the same way again

Yep, The General. My favorite silent film.

"Like Water for Melon"?

"Like Melon for Chocolate"?

"Spittin' Pits in Saigon"?

I haven't seen it, but a google search on imdb brought me the French/Taiwanese movie Tian bian yi duo yun. ;)

French title: La saveur de la pastèque ("The taste of the watermelon"), English title: The Wayward Cloud.

Starting new one. Who is she?

I'm absolutely not sure about this one, but my first hunch is Amélie Poulain... Edited by Mar(c)

Marc got the movie ;). Its indeed Wayward Cloud directed by Tsai Ming-Liang and winner of silver bear in Berlin.

Very close but she is not Audrey Tautou in Amelie Poulain. She is also francaise but in different era. She is playing in a movie in Prague revolution.

300, watched it yesterday :P
Wtg jowwow! ;)
Wow nice camerawork "300". Good movie?
The camerawork and the choreography are really awesome!

It's about the heroic last stand of the Battle of Thermopylae (480 B.C.), and the heroism and courage are epically brought to you without any nuance.

If you're gonna watch it, be prepared to see a lot of "ouch that must hurt" action in full detail (blood included)!

That makes two reasons to upload the pictures you want to post (to for example imageshack.us), instead of using the urls of the pictures where you find them on the web:
  1. Many large websites have their files protected against linking outside their domain, since it's generating extra traffic for their servers while it's not for their own website. So we only see the alternate text: "IPB Image" (with the infamous red cross when your browser is IE).
  2. The movie title is often visible in the url, it's Tampopo! :P

2046 directed by Wong Kar-Wai, Cute Lady is Faye Wong.

I have seen the movie. How can I forgot her. Have to dig deep in my memory bank to find the lost pixels. Maybe the chinese all-star cast was too impressive. Also Wong Kar Wai is my favorite chinese director. ;)

I'm not so sure about the impressivity of the movie (I remember not to be able to follow who-was-who :hehe:, and the story went totally past me...), but you coming up with the right title is definately impressive! :hehe: (IMO)

Your turn! :)

Im chinese from origine. My mother, also chinese, always said: those white devils always look the same. Guess if you are not familiar with other "races" features, it is very difficult to distinguish. I have no problem to see the individual chinese characters. But i cant distinguish those damned Klingons :hehe:. My guess also is watching movies or tv from different continent will solve the racial issue in the future. Because those unfamiliar faces are becomimg more common. Racists have an ethnical inbalance view of their own kind. Combined with their ignorance they fear the unknown and dislike unfamiliar faces. I have a hypothesis about how do you know when a face is beautiful. But i think im getting off topic now.
