Gohan Report post Posted November 8, 2006 (edited) Thanks Blee finaly no more useless spam on Channel 1 & 2 Partially correct. People will still ask for the a/d of.. But they can do so only once if you refer to this list. But in the end, they'll still ask. Btw, I put a note at the end of my first post. The reason why you *should* help me complete the list so I can give you a nice clean list on it. And maybe, very maybe, if I got A LOT of spare time. I might make a small database on it that you can scroll through. Including pictures off course. -Blee Edited November 8, 2006 by BleedingSoul
WizzKidd Report post Posted November 8, 2006 I wrote this about a year ago, and it still applies: http://www.el-iron.com/downloads/elmonsterstats.xls There is a utility built into the spreadsheet to put your info and the experience a given monster gives. It then calculates the a/d levels of that monster. The formulas are perfect, but I have not run it since the monster stats have changed a few updates back.. Enjoy

Puntif Report post Posted November 8, 2006 Here are my numbers so far: beaver 6/6 (exp 9/9 with a/d/rat=4/4/4) skunk 7/7 (exp 10/11 with a/d/rat=5/4/4) raccoon 8/8 (exp 13/13 with a/d/rat=4/4/4) deer 12/9 (exp 15/21 with a/d/rat=4/4/4) fox 12/16 (exp 28/20 with a/d/rat=5/5/4) brownie 8/8 (exp 14/14 with a/d/rat=3/3/4) green snake 18/9 (exp 14/32 with a/d/rat=5/5/4) wood sprite 10/30 (exp 54/14 with a/d/rat=8/8/8) leprechaun 15/15 (exp 24/24 with a/d/rat=8/8/8) imp 12/12 (exp 18/18 with a/d/rat=8/8/8) brown snake 22/14 (exp 22/38 with a/d/rat=8/8/8) boar 20/20 (exp 19/19 with a/d/rat=23/23/8) wolf 26/20 (exp 20/32 with a/d/rat=23/23/10) goblin 28/25 (exp 22/28 with a/d/rat=38/38/30) skeleton 33/28 (exp 28/38 with a/d/rat=38/38/30) large spider 30/30 (exp 32/32 with a/d/rat=38/38/30) armed skeleton 40/35 (exp 40/50 with a/d/rat=39/39/28) female armed goblin 32/35 (exp 40/34 with a/d/rat=39/39/28) male armed goblin 36/40 (exp 50/43 with a/d/rat=40/39/30) short gargoyle 30/30 (exp 30/30 with a/d/rat=39/39/28) tall gargoyle 36/36 (exp 42/42 with a/d/rat=39/39/28) wingless gargoyle 34/34 (exp 38/38 with a/d/rat=39/39/28) female orc 50/30 (exp 30/70 with a/d/rat=39/39/28) show leopard 37/37 (exp 44/45 with a/d/rat=40/39/30) black panther 42/42 (exp 54/55 with a/d/rat=40/39/30) feran 39/39 (exp 48/49 with a/d/rat=40/39/30) If your a/d are too much higher than your opponent then the formula doesn't apply so you can't use it to check rabbits and rats. There appears to be a minimum attack exp and minimum def exp for each creature (your rationality bonus is applied to the minimum for attack but not for defense). RallosZek Report post Posted November 8, 2006 (edited) The minimum with rationality 20 is +13att, +4 def, so that would mean: a minimum of 7 attack and 4 def. I have a screenie of fighting troll with 51 att and being at minimum. This puts troll def at: 2x - 51 <= 0 <=> x <= 25 So basically we need some peeps within 25att and 50 att to try a troll :> Tiger: 55/55 (exp 38/35 with a/d/rat=78/81/20) Edited November 8, 2006 by RallosZek
Gohan Report post Posted November 8, 2006 (edited) Puntif: great help, thanks. Putting those stats in the list right now. Wizzkidd: I hope you don't mind if I put that little exp calculator in my list, I'll copy it from your file. Ralloszek: Ok, I'll find someone. -Blee Edited November 8, 2006 by BleedingSoul
smalul Report post Posted November 8, 2006 (edited) The minimum with rationality 20 is +13att, +4 def, so that would mean: a minimum of 7 attack and 4 def. I'm quite sure there are minimum attack and defense exp for different creatures. I've got the same a/d exp from foxes- 8/6 a/d exp. My rationality hasn't chanced, and it is 11, which means a bonus of 3 exp points. This means the minimum a/d exp from foxes (without the rationality bonus) should be 5/3. For rabbits, the minimum a/d exp I get is 8/3, for boars - 8/6, for skunks and brownies - 8/4, for deers and wood sprite - 8/5. So as you can see, there is a different minimum for different creatures. So basically we need some peeps within 25att and 50 att to try a troll I will try it (if I can find one), as my a/d is 43/46. Puntif: great help, thanks. Putting those stats in the list right now. Where can I see the complete list? Do you have your own site or something? Gohan Report post Posted November 8, 2006 Where can I see the complete list? Do you have your own site or something? The list I got so far is on my first post in this topic, I'm making a good list in a file on my computer and I'll upload it when I'm done. -Blee

Gohan Report post Posted November 8, 2006 Bears are missing, as are red snakes. Imp A/D numbers (12/12) look funny. A boar (20/20) supposedly has almost twice the A/D as an imp? I know stuff is missing but I either need to be able to create a char suited to check the a/d or need help from someone else to get it. I'll check at a later time what is missing and post the list of 'Missing animals and monsters.' -Blee
smalul Report post Posted November 9, 2006 (edited) Imps and wood sprites were updated a few updates ago, making them much stronger - the Imps still have low a/d (it's in the minimum for me), but they do fire damage, which doesn't give defensive exp, and the wood sprites have had either their attack or defense raised a lot (in fact, at a/d of 43/46 I can get about 20 exp of def or att, don't remember which one, when fighting them). I still haven't found a troll to fight against, but I'll keep trying (I think they are in SKF, but I got killed by ogres and cyclops). smalul Report post Posted November 9, 2006 OK, I attacked a troll. I died, but got the a/d exp - I get 10 att exp and 76 def exp. My a/d is 43/47 and my rationality is 11, which makes trolls' a/d 60/25.
Gohan Report post Posted November 9, 2006 Smalul, thanks added it. Vytukas also sent me that info + the defense level of male orcs. Here's a small list of some stats I'm still lacking, maybe this list isn't complete either, I can't think of everything. If you see something is lacking in this list AND the list in my first post, tell me and I'll add it in this one. Phantom Warrior Black Bear Grizzly Bear Polar Bear Tiger White Tiger Red Snake Also Rat, Rabbit and White Rabbit, but I'm about to create a new character to try them. -Blee
KarenRei Report post Posted November 9, 2006 (edited) To add my part to this, I'll list HPs. Imp: Fire damage Red snake: Can poison I've been making a spreadsheet which automatically calculates a "difficulty" for different creatures. Difficulty is Attack * Defense * Hitpoints * Bonus (bonus is based on any "specials", such as a non-physical attack type, poison, etc). The justification behind this is that Defense * Hitpoints determines how long it will take a person of a given level to kill it, and Attack * TimeInCombat * Bonus determines how much it will hurt you during that time.
