why wont it let me log in the character that I am trying to make for my wife?? do I have to go through the same steps as before to get it white listed because my IP was banned????

instead of starting the game when it says click done again to creat character with this name I do and it all closes out

If you needed to whitelist your name, you need to whitelist your wifes name too.

 

Whitelisting means, you with your account can log on, not any account from your IP address.

 

So, wait until the new procedure for whitelisting chars is done, or change your ISP. Coz i think, thats your problem, that your ISP is banned.
