HELP cant play ;*(

i reinstaled winxp

and tryed to instal EL again, but when i click Login nothing happens, i do get the walking icon, but nothing else..i looked in my error log and saw this

i already reinstalled it a few times, and it doesnt have to do with the download

 

also when i go to options in my folder, i change it to 1024 x 786 x 32, then when i start EL again it keeps the big size of 800x600x16 or what ever

 

:S what should i do ?

i also tryed to download that from the link and replace it with the old list..nothing happens

 

im seeing in the log it cant open quest.log and commands.lst

 

i dont even have these files in my folder, is that the problem ?

kinda weird since i using the same download of EL i used before

This seems strange: are you setting it with the elcfg.exe or manually editing the el.ini file ?

And what resolution is your screen using in Windows?

Are you launching it in fullscreen or windowed mode?

no, they have nothing to do with the video problems

 

and from the image looks like you don't have / can't load the textures (or meshes):

do you have them in the EL folder?

and are you using a limited account or one with admin priviledge?

Hi today at ~13.00 i have closed my el client and when i returned at ~17.00 i couldnt connect. Firstly i thought there is something wrong on my side, but after reading the scars post here i checked my error log and it schows the same problem. Anyone any idea how to fix it?

btw; i had yesterday also a disconnect on my brothers(smooms) comp,and couldnt log in for a while. so i went sleeping :/
