Preload the update

http://www.rivanwarriors.com/radu/el_update_132.exe

Do not install it, just download it!

Unless if you wish to help us test stuff on the test server, in which case please copy your EL directory soemwhere else, and install the update in that directory, then edit el.ini and modify the port address to 2001.

In case you didn't understand the instructions, please do NOT ask for details, just wait for the update to happen.

for *nix-ers, CVS roll-your-own-ers, etc, you can get a zip of the changed/new data files here. no binary, you provide your own

The testing feedback go to the Bug Reports section of the forum, right?

I tested the sound for PL storage and posted that there.

I'm guessing map bugs go under here as well.

Carmien Manor (map13_castle): [118,108]. You can walk through the bars.

South Redmoon (cont2map16): [270,300]. The boulder is still walkable.

Whether a space is walkable or not requires a server update. So old map bugs of that type are still on this server. We you on this server or the test server?

server's been updated and I installed version 1.3.2. music and sfx keeps dying as it used to in past test versions, but at least now I don't get that crash message when closing the client.

ttlanhil, your zip for *nix users has a messed up languages/en/strings/help.xml file. It is throwing a lot of errors in my OS X client, and I imagine it would also be giving X console errors to linux users. Too bad I did notice this sooner.

languages/en/strings/help.xml:24: parser error : StartTag: invalid element name
<<<<<<< help.xml
...
languages/en/strings/help.xml:48: parser error : StartTag: invalid element name
<<<<<<< help.xml
...
languages/en/strings/help.xml:60: parser error : Opening and ending tag mismatch: root line 2 and misc
em in these boxes to equip it</equip_here><equipment>Equipment</equipment></misc
...

Actually, following a quick check of the files in the update win32 binary, everyone (excepting me) is affected by the diff markup. In any case, the unb0rked original for any end users wanting to fix it can be found at http://cvs.berlios.de/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/...lp.xml?rev=1.17
