Vanyel Report post Posted August 13, 2006 Honestly, I don't see reason for such command. I mean, I love spamming people with crap, but why all of them at once?

LabRat Report post Posted August 13, 2006 ctrl-b click on the buddy name "hey bud #jc 65867" @@68587 hi all #ci You are on channel 68587 and there are currently 1 players on this channel I see a major problem with your idea: 30,000 accounts (I seem to recall seeing that somewhere) how many possible permutations of friends could that make? and therefore how many channels could be joined by #jc buddy? trollson Report post Posted August 13, 2006 Wouldnt require any additional channels, could all be done as client side with PMs: @buddy <msg> Translated by the client as: /Buddy1 <msg> /Buddy2 <msg> ...etc... The problem here is over use could add a lot of traffic to the server, repetition of information. A server side implementation would nearly halve this traffic, at the expence of server processing. I doubt that there is a real need for buddy-group PMs though.
