Cal3d.dll Problem

Recommended Posts

After reformatting my hard drive and downloading the EL client and the 1.3 update, as well as a the latest video driver for my ati 7500 radeon card, i get the following error when I try to execute the game:

The procedure entry point CalCornAnimation_GetDuration could not be located in dynamic link library Cal3d.dll

I tried searching this thread, but couldn't come up with anything that looked like it answered my problem. Here are my system stats:

- did you try redownloading and a clean new install?

- did you try deinstalling your windows/ati drivers and installing omega drivers instead?

that's all i can think of right now :P

Something is definitely messed up, because it should be looking for CalCoreAnimation_GetDuration, not CalCornAnimation_GetDuration which of course doesn't exist.

This will happen when you have the wrong dll's. Remove (delete)the EL folder and install the game again. And, oh.. use the official stable client, available at www.eternal-lands.com
