I think I may be missing something here. Was he going to trade you something of no value for it? Did he think you were under level 21 def and would be killed? Just asking to trade for an MM cape doesn't seem like an outlaw thing to me.

 

Please if I am not understanding correctly then help me sort myself out.

Did you mean 'noob' or 'newbie'? if you need mm cape in gob cave then you are pretty close to newbie stats... but you were smart enuff to smell something fishy which would negate the 'noob' status.

Looks like Tiny tried to trick Lenny to take off the MM cloak and get killed by a gob so he could take the DB with (what he hoped for) the MM cloak.

thank you, that is the information I was trying to get. I couldn't tell which part was the actual scam. Can't watch out for something if you do not know what it is you are watching out for. I am still kind of new and do not know all of the tricks that people will try to pull.

newb / newbie = new player, still needs to learn a lot about how the game works.

noob / n00b = player (not necessarily new – some players stay noob all their lives..), begging for fr33 st00f!!1, begging or commanding to "heal me plx", preferably spamming those lines, and hard to teach that he shouldn't beg/spam... annoying. ("n00b" > "noob")

Tinysniper has been actively advertising for "training" in Tyrnim. He has all the answers and all are lies. He's got all my junk and as had a good chuckle. I've got his number and add to the evidence that this guy is an outlaw... or a habitual liar at best.

 

I saw his posts to channel 4 for a few days. Finally I answered:

Now I know this isn't a newbie scam, not yet. I wasn't going to say anything about it at all until I saw this thread. There it is, a little more evidence about what kind of guy this fellow is. He may honestly want to train... but I doubt it.
