going and attacking a mountain chimeran cause sumone told me they were

sort of a wolf and i thought wolves were easy for me so y not this mountain chim wolf be easy and i ended in the underworld before i could say hi

Every time I saw a white rabbit I ran the other way. I thought all white rabbits were fluffy rabbits.

 

 

That is very close to mine...I was wearing my green cape and was going to the grubby pen to get a fighting book when I saw a white rabbit. I was at this time a/d 18/18 I think. I thought wow! easy kill! (hint don't play around with the hot keys unless you know what you are doing. I had somehow turned off both names and bars).

 

Well the gods were looking out for me because just before I attacked the "easy kill" I thought that something was wrong. Why would a white bunny be on such a high level map. I decided that I would wait and try and find out.

 

I discovered that it was indeed a fluffy and not a cute white bunny.

Well, accidentally bought 100 gemstone hammer & chisels yesterday while buying gem sanders... That was 2k for nothing

Been there, done that...Wonder if Nera still has all of them (was in SegV at the time)

 

Also went afk in Portland what i was about 18/18/20/20 and came back in time to see me kill "bob".

 

Didn't realize you could go backand search for your death bag for the longest time, so I had to buy new stuff forever.

 

Tried to kill a summoned bear on IP within my first hour of playing.

I remember when Entropy introduced the Fluffy Rabbit. Of course, he didn't tell us what new creature there was, just something harder than every other creature (at the time). A friend and I went looking for it. Coincidentally it was very near the boat at Grubani. I saw the rabbit, ignored it (I *was* looking for a bad ass monster after all) and then wondered how in the hell I ended up in the underworld.

going into a cave i had never seen before (north NC cave) with an excavator cloak (by far my most valuable item at the time) on a comp that got about 1 fps. Thankfully the person who killed me returned it

Made an alt char with self destruct perk to kill some chimmies. I did manage to kill two and got around 40gc drops...

Also trying to PK someone without HE in inventory

-Buying 100 needles instead of thread - check, did that AFTER accidentally buying 5 needles instead of thread...

-Buying 100 gem cutters instead of sanders - check, recently - was helping a friend who is anti... If anyone needs needles or gem cutters...

-Finished the Tutorial Quest - hard fight when you keep dying to beavers, and you constantly drop parts of your bag... - I learned the meaning of deathbags. (This isn't the stupid part, unless you count not storing the furs for ease of completion.)

-Was in DP, figured I could walk across SKF in my newbie gear, at my newbie levels - not sure what I was thinking, something about getting somewhere, and not wanting to have to walk all the way... met not one monster, but two - what a way to learn. (This is the stupid part.)

-Several suicidal raids with Entris into GP - actually got a hit in on a fluffy once...

-Recent invasion - there are Fluffies somewhere I could cross to get elsewhere, so I walk into the underground... I never hit that fluffy once, had 4 restores...

-Invasion before that, got in a fight with a Mountain Chimmie - me restoring and serping + someone harming the chim took the beast down to half life, and him and I both to the underworld...

-several times forgetting my picks when I went to the mines...

-actually bought my armor and even some iron ore from NPCs, when I was a newbie (knew nothing about the market then)... even bear furs from Henrik for attack potions for Mortos (could NOT get a seller on market for this one, and this was my choice - Mira may have been cheaper, and definitely quicker, but less exp.)

-talking in local because I didn't understand how to use a channel, and being mad that WF wouldn't pay attention to me when I talked (his quiz that was around then - still back when I was a newbie).

-when I first talked to my brother in game, he talked in PM - I answered in local, near the old lilac bush in VotD graveyard.

-joined the first guild that offered me a spot - oh, wait, smart move - still in that guild.

-actually tried to read that song scarr posted.

-actually having performed motions from that song - in front of people (wait, that's not an ingame thing).

-actually tried to help people out in this game at one point, and thought it mattered. Maybe to someone it did...

I thought local chat is something like "speaking at all channels" that just newbies do, because it was visible in all tabs. So I answered to local chat at newbie channel...
