How do you get to particles on the map editor?

I am currently working on a map for myself and I have a question about the map editor. How can you put in particles? I read the map editor manual but this didn't seem to help me either. I try clicking on the buttons but I can't get any of them to come out with particles! Can anyone give me a hand?

 

P.S. I can make new particles by pressing ctrl+p, but I still can't put them on my map!

Click the button in the circle, and then click on the black arrow. Then select a particle file.

sorry to hijack this thread, but in map editor you can do ctrl + b (iirc) and it shows you the pics of al lthe obj. that you can add n what not is that a key command to see the particles? i know grum(??) or someone was working on that ...
