A New Deity has Arisen!

The Churches have just reported that two of the past Greater Gods have left their Godly Realm and two more Gods have been promoted to Godly status! Lucaa, a past resident of the city of Zirakinbar, and Jayden, and expert potionist have dropped their mortal status to become of higher power! Glydoc and Centau have both been taken off the worshipping list by the churches of Seridia and Irilion. The new Deities will certainly bring some new changes to the lands we know.

New Temples now Built!

As a result of Jayden and Lucaa elevating to Higher Power, temples have been built to honor them and their worshippers. Our contact from the Mage Convent in Tarsengaard, Lustra, has sent a mental image to show you a bit more of Jayden's Room of the Sacred Bowl and Sphere of Concoctions. New worshippers are now flocking to Morcraven to get a look at the newly built temple!

Lustra watches the Sacred Bowl illuminate as more of the temple can be seen behind her.

As for Lucaa, her worshippers have taken a different approach. The elusive Roanof Island has been claimed by Lucaa and her following, and will act as a temple once her priestess arrives. The way to Roanof is still unknown, but rumor has it that Lucaa has added a new way there, but a challenge must first be completed.

With Glydoc you mean Zarin (crafting god), right? Will that deity just be gone or replaced by Lucaa?

What was Centau good for?

The Psychadelic Homeland of the Elves

As some of our Seridean explorers were navigating the dank jungles of Kusamura, they came across a barred gate in the mountains. After camping out there for a few days, they spied an Elf nearby on the otherside. After getting his attention, the Elf opened up the gate, allowing our explorers in to the Elven Homeland, Aeth Aelfan. They were greeted as honored guests, and the people were more than happy to oblige in allowing so ships to bring in citizens from other areas on Irilion.

Our source from the Tarsengaard Magic School, Lustra, went there to visit and she sent us a mental image of the Flowerchild Inn, a popular tavern in the area. Peace, love, and freedom were words often associated with this place.

Selain has Blessed His Followers!

The High Priest of Selain, Gazhanar, has made a notice to all followers of Selain. A creature to represent the power of their God will be able to be summoned by the top worshippers. The creature itself is unknown, but Gazhanar says this beast will go along with the theme of the temple.

The Land of the Dwarven Forge

After many months of arguing, the Dwarven leaders and delegates from Seridia have finished their negotiations. Citizens of Irilion and Seridia will now be allowed to freely venture into this lands of Zirakinbar. The citizens are a very proud people, and boast of their achievements in the many forges in which they have created.

Lustra has been kind enough to send a mental image of Ironfist's Forge. Here, she is chatting with a resident of the area, Heavybeard. He boasts that his forge, the aformentioned Ironfirst Forge, is one of the greatest in all of Irilion. He even says he can repair almost any weapon and armor you can imagine.

Mortos Becoming More of a Threat!

The Church of Aluwen has reported that Mortos has begun to make more foul, destructive creatures to make the lives of the populas more difficult. Two new monsters have been reported, and they appear to be His doing. Using the harshness of a blizzard, and the endurance and strength of a mountain, these monsters have been created. The one monster has been reported to roam colder regions of Irilion, using its white fur to blend in with its surroundings. The other cannot hide, but uses its massive build and brute strength to take down even the strongest of fighters. We urge you to report any sitings of these monsters, and report them immedietly to the local government for termination.

A New Port City discovered!

After clearing away what appeared to be a collapsed gateway, a crystal desert was found on the other side of the mountain range in Sedicolis. After some exploration, a city was found along the coast, the Port City of Melinis. Many humans occupied the area, but it seemed that they had an odd use for crystals. What appeared to be purposeful was actually something that couldn’t be prevented. A local later told the exploration team that the crystals not only grew in great abundances, but drained all the water and nutrients from the soil, preventing all plant life from growing, aside the ones being protected by magic. Rumor has it that this plague of crystals was the result of an evil mages spell, who has been reported to still live somewhere in the area.

Our contact from the Tarsengaard Magic School was one of the first to visit the areas. Lustra sent us a mental image of a crystal field just outside the city. These crystals even seemed to grow on the dead trees in the area.

Experiment gone wrong!

Adrian, High Priest to Unolas, has reported to us that Unolas was trying to magically modify a goblin to create a smarter, more civil variation. The experiment backfired and created a stronger, and what appears to be a less-intelligent race of monsters. They are becoming a widespread threat now, and everyone is cautioned to approach these creatures with utmost caution. Witnesses report that this creature has a blueish skin tone, and a face of which resembles a pig.

Another Gnomish Isle Discovered?!

A recent storm blew a ship from Idaloran to Irinveron off course, and crash-landed on an unknown island. The residents there were very generous in helping with the ship's repairs, using their marvelous contraptions. After the captain of the ship, Captain Gaildren, spoke with Grandmaster Nerahk of the Arius Magic School, it was discovered that this was another home to the Gnomes in Irilion. Gaildren questioned Nerahk about being an Orchan Mage on an isle full of a race that tends to lean towards the more physical rather than magical side of life. He later found out that the Magic School did not house, nor teach gnomes in a vast majority, however, the Gnomes and the Magic School lived in harmony with each other. There were a few Gnomes who helped run the school, but not many. The Magic School was built on this island due to a strong magical presence that was detected.

Lustra was quite excited to visit another Magic School, and sent us a mental image of her from outside of it.

Alchemists Rejoice!

The Alchemical Experiment Labratory in Morcraven Marsh, with the help of the Miner's Union, has not only discovered new ores, but also figured a way to smelt these ores! News on what is needed to convert these ores to bars is still unknown to the public, but a representive from the lab made a statement saying it will be shared soon, and they just want to secure some locations to mine the ores before it goes public. He also mentioned that the ores themselves are quite elusive and hard to come by.

Mages Make Shocking Discovery!

After many months of research, a mage from the Tarsengaard School of Magic has discovered a new spell! This spell appears to make the user unseen to the normal being. Many fear that this ability could be used for evil actions, and a representative from the school states that a spell which would allow vision of these invisible entities has been created as well.

Officials from Palon Vertas have now notified the public that the Magic School which is located in the mountains will now open! Grandmaster Osreng, a Draegoni, is the leader of the Magic School. He stated "The Magic School has indeed opened, however, we are changing a few things around before we allow people to venture further into the school."

Lustra was once again excited to be able to visit another Magic School. She sent a mental image of her in the main entrance hall.

Home of the Willows opened!

After much negotiation between our explorers from Seridia and the government of Willowvine Forest, Willowvine will now be open for travelers to visit!(**when the client update comes in about a month**) "We are a very peaceful area, and live simple lives", said a gnome living in Fishmig Village. Willowvine is not only a home to gnomes, but also has 3 Elven settlements as well. Unlike other Elves living in Irilion, these Elves still choose to live in tree-like houses, like the ones in Tirnwood Vale. Another unique feature is that the tree houses are connected on the second level by a complex bridging system! Lustra has explored the area and sent us a mental image to share with everyone!

New Mode of Transport invented!

With the combined efforts of the Gnomes of Fishmig Village and Arius, a new mode of transportation between the two areas has been created. Lustra was lucky enough to interview one of the Gnomish inventors, Nytrin Litavish, of this flying contraption.

Lustra: This is obviously a breakthrough in technology, where did you come up with the ideas for this wondrous machine?

Nytrin: Well the idea was actually my brother’s. He lives in Fishmig Village and the rest of our family lives on Arius. We rarely get to visit each other because of the lack of good transportation from Arius, so he thought a flying vessel would solve our problems, and it has!

Lustra: How exactly does this “ship” work?

Nytrin: Very simple actually, even a child could operate such a machine. All you must do is place your hands upon the orb that is located on the control panel on the vessel, and it will do the rest. Quite ingenious if I do say so myself, it’s our first attempt at artificial intelligence.

Lustra: Sounds like this will be a great thing to have indeed. Thanks for your time.

After the interview, Lustra took a peek at the ship. Here is a mental image she sent.

The Jungle is no longer for savages!

The governments of Zirakinbar, Aeth Aelfan, Palon Vertas, and Emerald Valley have met with each other to establish a new law system for the jungle lands of Kusamura. After a unanimous vote, Player-killing will no longer be allowed within that area. Anyone who is caught performing such an illegal act will face trial in the city in which they are arrested by.

Ships arrive at the Elven port city!

While sailing to Irinveron, Captain Gaildren noticed a brightly lit port that he has yet to visit. After docking his boat, he was introduced to the bustling port of Irsis City. It is one of the biggest fish and trade communities in all of Irilion, and he wondered why he hadn’t heard of it before. He informed the other explorers from Seridia to make way there, to establish a stable relationship with the locals of this beautiful city.

Lustra was amazed by the sites the city had for her to see and was excited to send this mental image.

Vormus River Bottom Collapses!

Due to a high amount of rain this year, the Vormus River has become wilder, causing the solid stone that once provided a barrier to collapse, releasing water into the Palon Vertas underground tunnels. Luckily, a number of caves have emptied the majority of the tunnels, leaving only part of it submerged. Citizens of Saligen and Treesoar examined the tunnels after the flooding, and noticed that they were all still usable, but it has a whole new appearance. They have begun renovations to make it effective once again.

A Risky Negotiation!

One of our military advisers has found out that soldiers and guards have started to go missing lately. After further investigation, explorers have stumbled upon a hidden dwarven city. Bringing brave dwarf warriors from Zirakinbar with her, Lustra travelled to this city, which is said to be called Thelinor, to negotiate with the officials.

The journey didn’t go as safe as they thought it would; they came across forts along the path, some of which had quite some hostile fighters guarding them. Lustra and her companions finally reached Thelinor after a few harsh battles, losing a small number of men.

Ladrot Axekafa, the representative of Thelinor, told Lustra that the city was one of the only safe places in the area; the forts and what not were all open for player-killing. People are advised to wander around at their own risk.

Here’s a mental image of Lustra about to enter the tavern in Thelinor. The law allows people to fight inside here, just as long as it doesn't enter the main city.

More storages open for business!

With more and more people arriving to the continent of Irilion, new storages have been opened up! Aeth Aelfan and Arius both have had storages recently open up. Destinta has also decided to move her storage’s location. “I just wasn’t getting enough traffic, which is understandable. After all, I was isolated in the mountains” was the statement she gave. It has been said she has taken over a cave discovered near Fort Telmont. There is also a rumor that a 3rd new storage has moved into one of the maps, but an exact location has not yet been revealed.
