From portal to portal

Have you been sick of traversing Willowvine with the chance of being attacked by cockatrice and forest chimerans? So were the residents of Willowvine. With the help of the local mages not only from Willowvine, but from Emerald Valley as well, a portal system has been set up to allow everyone stay on the second level of the cities without the risk of being attacked.

"Portals were also placed near the ship to Arius and also the pathway to Emerald Valley. We blocked them off so the creatures couldn't get travellers there either." reported Malin Coherlin, a resident mage of Leaven Vale. Hopefully this will help make Willowvine a much safer map for all types of people.

Sister academy opens up!

Word has been received from Willowvine, and the residents of Eventhil report that the skill academy will be opening up to the public soon.

Professor Valandil, head of the summoning section, was kind enough to comment on the grand opening.

"We are very pleased to have finished the construction of the school, and have it become a sister academy to the one in Glacmor. We offer different services that the Glacmor academy. Our specializations include blacksmithing, summoning, and magic. There is also a meditation area, to rest and restore health and mana. All races are invited to come and enjoy our facilities."

Valandil also said there should be a storager moving into the academy. He does not know who it may be at this time.

Jasla was able to get a sneak peak of the academy, and shares a mental image of the meditation room.

Streets of Melinis appear to be safe

Due to complaints of monsters from people travelling through the city, the locals have closed the gates of Melinis. A lever system was now added for everyone to open up the gates, and come and go as they please. In more of an attempt to keep creatures away from the city, the levers were installed inside of a warrior-like statue.

Make room for manu

Near Irinveron storage, an abandoned building was discovered. While it was being renovated, a large supply of manufacturing supplies were found under the floor boards. With this in mind, the builders decided to turn this building into a blacksmithing school.

"It was just meant to be, the supplies were a sign" said a builder.

Odd events on the isles!

Residents of the Isles of Forgotten have reported that there has been a strange occurrence on Oblivo Island.

"It just straight up vanished!" said one bystander.

It did indeed vanish, but reappeared a couple days later, but the isle had changed. It no longer had any evidence of it disappearing in the first place, and a lot of it had appeared changed.

"The cave I always would use for my ores changed it's location and layout all together" said Bick; owner of the local tavern.

It seems there is more to learn about this island than meets the eye. They invite all people to explore and find out the new secrets.

Jasla was one of the first one the scene! Here is a mental image she grabbed of Obvlio Island!

Can the legends be true?

Explorers have been dispatched into the icy lands of Irinveron. A local fisherman reported finding evidence of an ancient temple somewhere within the region. Historians that have specialized in the arctic regions of Irilion said there were many temples back before the Great War, but think it may be one dedicated to an ancient God. A Draegoni storyteller was also interviewed, and she said legends of a great beast revolve around this temple. The team of explorers hope to find this temple soon, as it could be a major part of history.

Mystery in the jungle?

About a week ago, a starving and exhausted elf was found on the borders of Kusamura near Zirakinbar. He was in a state of shock when he was found and appeared to have a case of amnesia. However, in his sleep, he kept mumbling nonsense. The few words we were able to understand in his mindless bumbling.. big, stairs, beast, traps, treasure, questions, maze. After his week of rest, he remembered little. He was in a big group of explorers, and they were looking for something. He doesn't remember what happened to them, or what they were looking for. After hearing this, a rescue party was formed comprised of explorers and warriors in hopes to find the rest of the missing group, and possibly what they were originally searching for.

An Old God Gains New Insight

The ancient God Iringold, the father of the Draegoni, has had a recent surge in worship gain. In turn, followers have constructed a shrine in honor of the forgotten God. The shrine can be found somewhere in Irinveron.

For those who don't know, Iringold stays most active in the cold regions of Irilion. Seemingly pleased with the sudden spurt of worshippers, Iringold's glee also seems to have adjusted the appearance of Hulda. In turn, Irinveron seems to have had some sudden geographical changes as well.

More Access to Dra Syn

In an unprecedented decision, the Dra Syn Council of Commissioners has reversed its earlier decision and has now approved the construction of passages linking Trassian with Iscalrith. Workers have been charged with completing these passages in record time. While not quite finished, these passages will be opened to the general public in the next few weeks. In order to protect their construction technology, the Dra Syn Council of Commissioners has rejected this reporter’s request to photographically document this historical event.

New Arenas Constructed!

A collection of warriors has banded together to create arenas for others like them to use throughout the regions of Irilion. Construction took place in Zirakinbar, Iscalrith, and Kusamura. Each of them has a level restriction on those who can use them, to aid in friendly fighting between fellow fighters.

Jasla came to test out the new Zirakinbar arena with another fighter. They practice shooting their bows at eachother on the raised-platform arena. She has this mental image to share.

The dark castle of Azaghal has been closed for months now for unknown reasons, but it seems that passage through this evil place is again possible. Jasla carefully explored the castle, but doesn't seem to remember her way around for some reason. What dark magic could be at work here? She sends a mental image from the main corridor.

A New Arena

Officials of Corren report that a new arena has been built next to the infamous Desert Pines 40/40 arena. One of our reporters was able to catch up with Kalana, the Governor of Corren.

"We feel that we will improve the conditions for our fighters. We have dubbed this arena as a 60/60 arena," said Kalana.

There are mixed emotions about the arena, but everyone can agree that it will definitely affect all fighters in the area.

Priests expected to arrive!

Word has arrived from the churches of Elandria, Jayden, Lucaa, LaForge, and Galienne. The head priests should be arriving shortly and starting to allow new worshippers join their designated temples. In other news, word of LaForge and Galienne’s temples have spread and it is said they will be located in the regions of Arius and Glacmor.

Enchanted Gardens

Grandmaster Osreng of the Palon Vertas Magic School is happy to state that the garden will now be available to all visitors to the school. Rumors of secrets lurk around this garden, or perhaps it has something to do with the enchanted wind that whispers through the trees.

Grandmaster Osreng invited Jasla, a student of the Palon Vertas Magic School, to share a mental image with you.
