You cannot test the maps you made.

The only maps that are tested are official ones for the game, and paid-for guild maps.

there is a way, but it has lots of bug doing it this way. Basicly if you find a map that aready in the game that is the same size and overright that map with the map you made, your map will show when you go to that map in-game.

However like i said it has many bugs as the server still thinks it is the old map, meaning it will let you walk on places your not ment to and wont let you walk on place you are ment to depending on what was there on the other map.

But it can be good to test things like the particals (which have a big black box around them in the map editor, or just to see what it looks like with your player. If you try this make sure you have backed up you game so you can put it back to it was when finished.

Doing this can get you banned for hacking if you are caught or file a single bad bug report! Under no circumstances is it safe to try this!!!!!!!!!

You can get rid of the particle box by right-clicking something while pressing a key iirc

Edit: Shift-rightclick on the particle button on the top toolbar-thingy

I think a good rule of thumb is:

If you know what you're doing and should be doing it, you wouldn't need to be asking how. So therefore let's not publicly advertise how to screw up one's client and maps and el.config and port info.

Edit: And if I see any more posts like that, the author will get all of the help_me's forwarded to them to fix the messes it made.
