auror Report post Posted May 8, 2006 well i have been thinking that where most el trading happens is obvously around storages and busy places. With some many people bunched together its sometimes hard to find the person you wish to trade with because all the names are mixed up. To make "storage" trades you have to stand close to the storage npc and gets even people are bunched together. The #trade <name> will trade with the person lets say 6 meters around you and will elemenate congestion of trying to find the person you wish to trade with. sbarstow Report post Posted May 8, 2006 I like this idea...mostly because I try to eliminate teh mouse as much as possible, and trying to find a trade partner at VotD storage is rediculous...
crusadingknight Report post Posted May 8, 2006 (edited) That wouldn't be too hard, and could be done client side. Maybe it will be added after the feature freeze is over. (Of course, not promises though, and this is only my opinion. Maybe a patch later.). Edited May 8, 2006 by crusadingknight

ttlanhil Report post Posted May 9, 2006 Nice idea, this would eliminate all those pesky misclicks only if it becomes the only way to trade, which will make newbies even more likely to bagtrade (what? me read?)... it would reduce it, though.and if it happens, then it'd be nice to also work on storages, because they can be hard to click on too... (which is where some of the misclicking happens, people leaving cursor on trade)
