this has been suggested many times, and I believe Entropy is looking into this already.

Actually the quest log has new features and filters. Right click on it :)

 

But still does not have active or completed quests.

You can add such things and more yourself using the "add" entry option.

It would be great to have current daily quest in quest log ...

(fe. I always forget the coords where to pick the harvestables for harvest quest etc ...)

In the dialogue window, click copy. Open the quest log, click add, enter the NPC name, paste in the log entry. Done. In CVS, there is a "copy NPC name" option on the dialogue window too.

Yeah but since its stored locally, I have no idea what quests I started or finished in the past. I mean I go back to the starting NPC see if I can take a quest but sometimes I won't know if I have started the quest already without completing.

 

I am not complaining about daily quests or god quests because the notepad/quest log features suit these perfectly, its just for the long involved quests where you don't know what stage you are currently at.

i agree with this, I have started quests in the past, had to reformat my computer/not played in a long time/got a new computer, and have lost my place/do not know who or where i am
