Connection Problems

Recommended Posts

If it's a routing problem, there won't be any rollback, since the server is not concerned...

At least, that's what I understand.

The server should be fine. A traceroute shows routing problems in the UK.

Destination host unreachable.

So this grasshopper walks into a bar, hops up on the barstool and says "Barkeep, I'll have a beer mate"

The bartender looks down at the grasshopper and says, "Hey you know we got a drink named after you!"

The grasshopper looks at the bartender and says, "Really? You have a drink named Kevin?"

WTF, why is people's first reaction: "OMFG rollback!! no way dude!! omfg I lost so many hours!!!", before they even do a fucking traceroute?

because rollback is scary, and many game players don't even know what a traceroute is, let alone how to use it and tell what the results mean

Destination host unreachable.

Same from Germany looks like a BGP problem.

The new Pope was having a shower. Although he is very strict about the

celibacy rules, he occasionally felt the need to exercise the right wrist,

and this was one of these occasions. Prevention of Arthritis in his

writing hand was a must.

Just as he reached the Papal climax he saw a photographer taking a picture

of the holy seed flying through the air.

"Hold on a minute" said the Pope. "You can't do that. You'll destroy the

reputation of the Catholic Church.".

"This picture is my lottery win" said the photographer. "I'll be

financially secure for life."

So, the Pope offered to buy the camera off the photographer, and after

lots of negotiation, they eventually arrived at a figure of two million

quid.

The Pope then dried himself off, and headed off with his new camera.

He met his housekeeper, who spotted the camera.

"That looks like a really good camera," she said, "how much did it cost

you?"

"Two million quid" replied the Pope.

"TWO MILLION QUID!" said the housekeeper.............

"They must have seen you coming!"

Two fish in a tank.

One says to the other:

"Do you know how to drive this thing?"
