.zip file

I'd like to play this game on a comp that doesn't like to install things, so what i'm looking for is a windows .zip file of it, rather than the exe. Any ideas? Is there such a thing?

If someone else were to zip the package for you, and host it, they could load it up on your comp I think. You would have to manually create icons, folders, etc.

So if i just copy the C:/Program Files/Eternal Lands folder, that should work?

 

Cause i've found alot of the time the install file has to mess around with stuff in the registry, so copy and pasting wouldn't work in that case.

not for EL, though you won't have start menu entries made (which can be handy, and which you could also add yourself if you wanted)
