Guest Enyo

Enyo, daughter of Calliope and Tidus... not to be confused with Enyo of the two Graiai Sisters.. was born on another continent across the Ghealan Ocean in a remote mountain village called Sephradai. Her father, King Tidus.. not to be confused with Tidus of Grubani befriended Ares, god of war.

After many painful and bloody defeats to barbarian clan Cannabulis, King Tidus made a long journey to the temple of Morthos on the Seridia continent. After bringing many gifts to the god Morthos.. King Tidus returned home disappointed that he had nothing more than a simple gladiator's blessing to use during battle only. He needed more..

On the long voyage back to Sephradai, King Tidus bravely and unknowingly defeated the eye of the storm which turned out to be Masquetas the arch enemy rival of Ares, god of war. As a token of his gratitude, Ares gave King Tidus a female child which Queen Calliope would give birth to in less than 8 days. He told King Tidus to name this child Enyo, after his good friend Enyo, goddess of war who had recently died after leading the trojans into battle successfully.

Ares instructed King Tidus to make haste to Queen Calliope as she prepares to give birth to a goddess whose beauty, intelligence, wisdom and grace would be as great as the lovely Aphrodite, goddess of love and who would also be equal in strength to that of the famed Hercules and to bring this child to the old continent across the southern hemisphere of the Ghealan Ocean and raise her lovingly and wisely in the city of Portland.

He informed King Tidus that this female child would one day return to his kingdom of Sephradai where she would reclaim his throne but first she must train intensely and learn the arts of combat tactics, alchemy, potion making, magic, crafting and manufacture of armor and weapons and complete many long and dangerous quests.

Until the prophesied rights of passage arrives for Enyo.. the map leading back to what is now known as the lost continent would remain burried.. hidden somewhere within the dark forest of Tirnym.

...... to be continued.....

Years later.....

After a long and exhausting journey through the Kusamura jungle Enyo came across the sacred eye of the ancestral white tiger hidden in a hot bubbling pool of crystal clear blue water. She struck it once with her magic weapon of the gods which she had taken from a dead artic chimeron in the low icey flats of Hulda. Immediately she was transported to a ghost like town which had been forgotten long ago.. an island engulfed in mystery and intrigue.

The buildings seemed to be a mirage with their deathly calm and transparency. Only the creatures of the wild were left to guard its secrets. She followed a pack of wolves to a man made of snow and as she gently touched the black onyx eye she found herself in a temple honouring a few brave warriours of the past.. Matess, LadyWolf.. yes she knew them well. That was long ago.

The two armed orcs escorted her to a vacant igloo outside the temple nearby. As she entered she soon found herself on a cluster of isles with many caves and confusing mazes, vengence one said.. she visited that place in what now seems like another life time ago when the one who she loved was taken prematurely from this world never to return...yes she knew vengence.

Follow the R. A. V. E. N., he said. Nothingless led her to her final destination. As she stepped into the center of the sacred triangle she soon found herself deep in the abyss of the lost kingdom of Sephradai now floating in the volcanic waters of fire. There was no turning back.

How would she cross that passage of hot lava and still remain alive. Her goddess powers didn't work here, she had learned that years ago. She must resort to the magic humans used in order to safely reach that first crumbling fortress wall where her armed orc awaited her.

Was this the rights of passage which had been prophesied so long ago? She wept as she stood in front of the entrance to the castle courtyard. She remembered fondly the stories she father would share.. the beautiful gardens.. all gone.. nevermore.. nothingless.

As she stood there weeping tears of forgotten sorrow, the Princess Aislinn appeared only for a moment to comfort her "All is not lost" she said. "Your journey has only just begun" she said as she vanished into the heat.

The Lady Reni touched her gently on the shoulder.. "Come Enyo, its time for your journey to end.. follow me.. be not startled to see me here for I am your final guide. Those armed orcs are my faithful subjects." She followed her into a series of twists and turns leading them to a place with 4 colourful skulls. Here she must choose her destiny. She chose green for life and forgiveness. It was then that she found herself back in the ancient kingdom of Sephradai.

It was as if nothing had ever happened. Her parents were there awaiting her return. "Welcome home, our brave daughter. We've been waiting a long time and watched you grow into the beautiful goddess that you are now. You have earned your crown and powers and the name which was reserved for you since before birth."

Time is a trick and age is a trap she thought. She wouldn't forget the lessons learned. Though it may seem like the forgotten isle where everything is transparent trying to confuse the mind, it was real and grounded in her spirit for all eternity. Her friends will always have a place in her heart, not to be lost. Perhaps one day time would permit another crossing of paths but for now she has a new journey to begin as they have their own to continue.
