RakThul Report post Posted February 11, 2004 Is anyone working on a map that could detail some of the things in the Crystal Caverns? Is it possible to do so? I have quite a few coordinates on locations of various things (ores, minerals, etc) so if someone is working on a map and needs anything, just let me know! I would love to help put together a map for this (might just make things a little easier)! Have fun all! CHEERS! RakThul

Snuit Report post Posted February 11, 2004 The coords can be found on http://www.eternal-lands.net I copied them here for you: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a list here of most of the coordinates for Crystal Cavern (The big mine in Desert Pines). I will add more as I find them. The north entrance to the mine is 46, 301 in Evergreen Woods. The north entrance inside the mine is 9, 178. The south entrance to the mine is 149, 228 in Desert Pines. The south entrance inside the mine is 174, 148. 170, 100 and 83, 133 are Silver rocks. 10, 100 and 147, 141 are Iron rocks. 167, 13 is Coal rocks. 182, 124 is Blue Crystals. 144, 98 is large multi-crystal rock (a few different types of quartz in one rock I believe.) 119, 152 is Quartz rock. 156, 172 another iron rock. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- someone gave this -> http://outback-nl.com/dpmines.jpg <- handmade dp mines map - quite useful. Now u cant just copy and past your own made map in the EL map directory and expecting it to work..
Grum Report post Posted February 12, 2004 Now u cant just copy and past your own made map in the EL map directory and expecting it to work.. As a matter of fact, you can. I forgot the specs and the name of the map, but that can be found somewhere on these forums. You can use the search facility on these boards to find them. Entropy Report post Posted February 13, 2004 Should be cave1.bmp The bmp file should be UNCOMPRESSED, 8b (you said it is already 8b)... First try this: Get one of the already existing maps and copy it as cave1.bmp See if it works. if it works, it means you exported your BMP in the wrong way. If it doesn't work, let me know.
