Thread from spiders

Recommended Posts

I notice now we get thread, but why already on a SSSPINDLE, ready for use :P

Would it be more realistic to have to get a wodden handle from the blacksmiths, before you can use it? It would work as a spindle, basicly

Where do you think all those cottonreels that you use go. You chuck them on the floor and the spiders come along and eat them. Thats why they are so big. Poor little house spiders they are thread bound! :D

i figured that'd be an issue, and theres an answer

to make thread from the raw thread dropped by spiders, you HAVE to collect, say, 250 or 300, a number like that, first and do it all together, alching it with the handle, or even a spindle that costs less. then you get the number of raw thread, now usable. You couldn;t rely on this,m cause its not wquick to obtain, but a little extra thread here and there and eventually you get more usable

[but then you need woodcarving skill of at least 10!

And then we'd need *wood* hammer & chisel?

Or a special woodcarving knife?

:P

You really need a lathe to turn those cottonreels and of course when we use the thread we get the reels back (like vials)

Toothpicks of course! Great tinder for fire and firemaking!? toothpicks, branches, logs. We have firemaking!

Not to mention grapes from the vineyard taste great on toothpicks at parties and weddings.

actually they were around - they were just little tiny house spiders that we couldn't see in game (like those bees that sting us during harvesting we can't see) and they got thread bound and that's y they're the size they are now :)
