The way you *should* do it is to create a smaller "thumbnail" of the image (probably 1/5 of the size or so), and the original image both hosted somewhere. Then you use [ url = <link-to-original> ] [ img ] <url-of-thumbnail> [ /img ] [ /url ] to display the thumbnail with it linking to the full size picture.
