Arnieman Report post Posted December 26, 2005 Hmm, I don't see anything out of the ordinary from what other people have reported... IOW, if all we can see is all there is, and you are still having problems, there's another culprit. And please, for the sake of sanity, edit out some of the 100s of player_slash errors, they get real lengthy.

freeone3000 Report post Posted December 27, 2005 (edited) The same thing happened to me. Click on this: http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df...ID=798&lang=eng follow the steps and download it then install a new video card, after i did that it was good as new and i could start playing the game again Not video card, just drivers... and drivers are very system-specific. ================================================================================ Hey, guys, I found something. Error: Can't open file "quest.log" Make sure EL has permissions to read and write to your Eternal Lands directory, C:\Program Files\Eternal Lands, and that quest.log is not being used by any other applications when you start it. Next time, just edit out repeats of the same entry. fontv.bmp is an unused font file, just make a copy of font1 or font2.bmp and name the copy to fontv.bmp, should clear that up. player_slash1.caf is another thing, make a copy of player_slash.caf and name if player_slash1.caf. For particles 5, 6, and 7, make 3 copies of your favorite particle, and name them the approaite things. The fixes in this paragraph don't really do anything, just clean up your error log of un-error-causing things. Btw, how'd you get that motherboard name? I've been trying to get that...
