Very confusing science question

Recommended Posts

Time travel should be possiable.. but only fowards.. The faster you are traveling the slower time apears to go for the traveling object. (this is proven, they sent an atomic clock into space, sent it round the earth fast and it came back slower than the one on earth.) So if you managed to acellerate yourself up towards the speed of light... wich of course gets harder and harder as mass increases the closer you get to C, so more energy is need... you would have a slower time than where ever you started from. So all you would need to do is get in a space ship, get it moving very very fast in a large orbit, and then come back to earth. Your time will have been going slower that earths and so you will have in essence moved into the future..

And as to the diamond thing. A thin sheet of diamond would shatter under the force of a bullet as while it is hard to scratch there is no give in it. Kevlar vests are used bacause kevlar bends and breaks therefore absorbing the impact. The strong nature of diamond would mean all the power is still concentrated on a small aread breaking the diamond. That is why it is hard to cut diamonds.... Get the chisel in the wrong place, hit it with the hammer and BAMM the whole diamond shatters.

As you approach the Speed of Light ©, time seems to slow, and if you actually reach The Speed of Light, you will stop aging entirely. But Faster-Than-Light travel is impossible, for if you try to go faster than "C", you will get heavier and heavier insted of faster and faster. And gravity, as it warps space, it also changes time, for space and time are linked together.

That would be a time bounce - an endless loop between the point in time you travelled to and the point of time from which you started. You would have no memory of the results of the experiment and you will repeat it again, thus closing a vicious circle.

BTW Dark_Nightmare how old r u?
