tPhat Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Why do some items in your inventory stack (e.g. wine) but others don't (e.g. potions)?
Derin Report post Posted October 30, 2005 That is mostly a game balancing issue.
tPhat Report post Posted October 30, 2005 You mean to stop peaple carrying too much of a certain item?

tPhat Report post Posted October 30, 2005 But isn't the weight of an item enough of a limiting factor?
Derin Report post Posted October 30, 2005 But isn't the weight of an item enough of a limiting factor? 215311 In some cases no, like potions for example. The idea is to prevent ppl from carrying a nearly limitless supply of certain items. The balance is good so far, if you ask me. The only item I would have a 2nd look at are fox furs, which I think could be made stackable.
tPhat Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Yes, I can see why you don't want everyone carrying around heaps of dear antlers.
TheDoctor Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Yes, I can see why you don't want everyone carrying around heaps of dear antlers. 215327 Yea, the point is for items like SRs which u need for pking and training so if you have a lot of emuage, you could carry like 500 of em and fights would be way long

danespen Report post Posted October 30, 2005 What about helms etc? It's not very realistic to carry 37 leather helmets (or pairs of boots)... what if such items took 2x2 places in the inv (not in the "now wearing" section)? Just a suggestion
freeone3000 Report post Posted October 30, 2005 Well, yeah, that would work, except then it would be a grid-ish system, with intricate balencings of item sizes and finished products reletive to the requirements of what has to be done... Okay, yeah, good idea. Might wanna try further suggestions in suggestions.
