Benvolio Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Well I was thinking, and since most guilds chat through #gm, and you need rank 19 to make someone rank 5, why not have someone start rank 5 when they joined the guild. That way, someone rank 19 doesn't have to sign on in order to allow someone to talk, you can talk immediatly upon being accepted if somone rank 15-18 accepted you. ChangeYourName Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Yeah along time ago when I was in GF guild only like the top 2 people used the #GM and the guild talked through the guild channel not in #GM.
Graedow Report post Posted August 31, 2005 I think it is good as it is now, no need to change it... Why would you change something that only needs 5 more seconds of your time...??
LabRat Report post Posted August 31, 2005 how about adding a number as an optional field to set guild rank: #accept playername n where n is the desired rank. It would take a couple of seconds to add the command in the client (first send the "#accept playername", wait for the "Great, you accepted" bit, then send "#change_rank playername n", and not much longer if done server-side. Brom Report post Posted August 31, 2005 That setting is a good idea, but Hopefully in this next version will not be needed as we have multichat, guilds will not have to use #gm just use the guild channel.

You can be as low as level 15 and still accept. I doubt all the guild masters want that.
