use for charm and instinct

Recommended Posts

Instead of having whether monsters attack you or not based on a/d it could be based on charm. The higher your charm is the less likely you will be attacked.

Instinct could be used to increase the precentage chance of making enhanced items as well as the chance of finding serp and rostogol stones.

Not bad of an idea on Charm. At least it'll cause players to start shifting around their Attribute Points a little more besides just getting the same Attributes over and over.

But I don't think Instinct would really have much of an impact on Creating Rare items, though finding them perhaps is a possibility. But Instinct needs to have a more "Proactive" effect, like aiding in the Tracking of an Animal or Gaining a "firststrike" in Battle and such.

Other charm suggestions :

1. Add into the Tankel repair chance formula.

2. Reduction of neg "queen of nature" events chance

Don't forget that actions are based on Cross Attributes, not directly Basic Attributes...

Then it would be Perception, not precisely Instinct, that is concerned here.

And I do like Teranoz' idea about Mother Nature being less naughty to charming characters ! :P

I was thinking that perception could be used to determine how far away a monster could be to initiate an attack or cast a spell on it.

Ooh... that's sound VERY VERY good! :P Then there's another strategy to use for combat! :) A mage with high perception and a lot of diss rings could probably kill a low-level fighter without even being touched. (Not to mention that the Remote Heal problem would be solved, too...)

3. Better "deals" from store npc's

4. Animals follow you around (not monsters though, too convenient for fighters)

5. Cause more a person to be able to CONTROL more summons at one time, (Put a limit on it, based on Charm)

Instinct/Charm summon idea:

Allow a small chance of multiple summons to come from one summon.
