(allowing the owner to bring 2-3 others along?) 2.What about a Cloak of Mirrors to confuse enemies (baddies attack would have 2 or 3 other images to kill to gain you an advantage) 3. An Amulet of Auto Attack (or Targeting Amulet) so baddies automatically attack you (for escorting low level characters around dangerous areas) 4. Bracers of Invisibility (possibly in 10 second periods) 5. Monogramed beach towels with the Eternal Lands logo on them! 6. Monsters that can turn players to stone (possibly for short periods of time only) 7. A number 4 that doesn't look like a 1 on my monitor. 8. More respect for, and gratitude towards creators and crew dedicating their time for our enjoyment? 15. Monster that cast double or triple gravity upon players that wander too close? (slowing movement IE escape)16. Wandering NPC's that try to rob you in any map? (that look like any player) 17. This is evil, but monsters that appear to be a player, but when in their grip they change into a (fill in the blank) and do what they do best? (try to decrease to surplus player population) 18. Mini-map that you can see radar of monsters, players nearby? 19. Blinding flash spell for use against monsters or pkers (screen actually(for pkers) flashes white then fades? 20. Large toads, frogs, or komodo dragon looking lizards as wild life?(usefull for components in spells or just new players to raise combat) 21. The ability to turn self into statue to avoid monsters? Plus, having a Map which is difficult (But not impossible) to enter would drive players to struggle to reach that place. It'll make player try harder! 18. I'd like that idea if it it wasn't already hard enough to navigate as it is. Imagine trying to rotate the screen while watching the little Map, only to have what your watching for to move, thus needing to Rotate again! A Mini-Map that shows only your location would be better but then it wouldn't have the details as the current Map. 20. There are a lot of animals but not anywhere near enough! There should be another 20 kinds, and possbly 50 later on down the road. There should be a large and wide varieity and as more maps are made, they should be expanded and scattered far and wide across the World. In other words, you should need to cross the world to find rare animals only found in certain locations. 22. I like that too. It would be a interesting hazard to avoid. It would be great if they traveled under water, hidden from view except for a vague Shadow in the water and only surfaces when it attacks. That'll be great in Caves and underground Caverns. A way to cast spells of protection or traps on bags and player homes? 25. A forcefield type spell to keep others away if in dangerous area, or to keep multiple players (& summoned creatures) from smoking your posterior 26. A way to leave a short message hovering in the air for a period (like a "brb, wait for me msg", or "please don't touch, brb", or "I know what you did last summer!" 27. An oracle that gives multiple choice questions to new characters and gives prizes, to increase learning fast. But only up to a certain level. 28. An incentive for people to vote on www.MPOGD.com other than gratitude, which works for me. 29. Possibly a medal of Gratitude of sometype that causes all players to automatically salute when you pass. Wouldn't that be different? 30. When players gripe and complain about the game cause they're good at griping, how about a lightning strike to kill them on the spot and make them do the underworld shuffle to go back and find their stuff? Holy (or Blinding) Bracers of Light that brighten up immediate area around player? They would also make wild or summoned animals stronger against monsters, evil players, and regular players.. 35. Shadow Bracers of Darkenss (or Evil Bracers of the Abyss) that turns area surrounding player with shadow that will seem as though a cloud is hovering above the player? They would also make evil or summoned monsters (I hope in the future) stronger against wild or summoned animals, Good players, and regular players. 36. What about marking players with an Holy symbol of Goodness or Evil symbol of Wickedness, based on their behavior? 37. Summoning to include an Angel of Light or Demon/Devil to assist in battles or escort? 38. Charm ability to remove valuables from players belongings they don't properly appreciate (like the U.S. Gov. so aptly does daily) 37a. This is partly suggestion, partly brainstorm. If any of you have played Morrowind you would understand what I mean. There are many quests where you can just pickpocket someone to get something out of the. BUT if you get caught guards run after you. Its alot of fun to see what you can get away with!!!! I'm such a high level that I can kill everything In pretty much 2-3 hits (and I'm a frekin' mage) so I just steal stuff. Anyways Certain Charactersa in Morrowind are very important and if you kill them you damn the world. ome of them have PRICELESS artifacts and shit on them. Just knock em down and pick pocket them and ur rich. ITS SO MUCH FUN Pickpocketing ***** idea Its simple to implement and it will spawn a theif class!!! rebootedrock Report post Posted January 20, 2004 hmm alotho a minimap has been dicussed before a MUCH more simplyfied version would be appropriate such as a little circle in top right corner showing your loacation on the map THE image on the map would simplay be a zoomed in version of the regular map. (this would inclen some of us to fix some maps :cough::cough:portland: cough: and would display all shops,roads, and natural features(like green indicating woods or earth color for mountain,tan for desert,blue for water, and grey for stone(or villages). items.. hmm 1~.ring/medallion of perhaps speed?(increased movement rate,higher escape from fights probability) 2~.I like the tent idea alot... (buy one, set up camp to restore health and magic energy)But has a onetime use only. and isnt cheap. upon setting it up you could still talk in channels but screen is black. press a key and wake up.(make them expensive say 10k a pop so mages and summoners will be more inclined to buy pots.) 3~.this ones more of what i would love to see. a cape of hover.(limited)function-allows you to hover a few inches off the ground with your legs hanging limp(when not moving) upon moving you thrust foward and the cape begins to ripple and legs and arms fall behind the body. >->-o <----- like so an appropriate example of this would be the vampire guy in chrono trigger... if youve ever seen him another example would be like in flight DBZ but instead of simply hanging in the air(very unrealistic) you would hover.
