Yes, it will produce a misleading vote count. As will me constantly plugging and unplugging my router to get more votes. As will me doing that with another computer as well.

I don't think you understand - that's why they allow you to vote once per day, in case you change your mind. If it was cheating, they wouldn't allow it. QED.
