how about fireworks that shoot off ever night around a town? like Votd ir would give us something to look at in the water and maybe add alittle more fun to the game.

Oh, wonderful - create file, hit save, it won't save for anything, and manual editting crashes it <_<

Dude what are you talking about.... Trees have nothing to do with the game, lakes hove nothing to do with the game, the majority of sigils out there have nothing to do with the game but we still have them... because just looking cool has something to do with the game (form over function right?) . I say go for it.... some fireworks will definetly spice things up

Fireworks wands were implemented in UO, years ago. They were a rare handed out to everyone, and of course grew in scarcity as time goes by. They had 100 uses, and you dbl clicked em, (use icon in EL), and they shot a graphical explosion 8 tiles or so away from you. Of course it didn't hurt anyone, and it was a rare so people didn't use em much for long. But they were a neat little thing to play with.

well there is a npc in Nordcarn that claims to make firworks so perhaps he could finaly be put to some use

Specter, you beat me too it. I was thinking how fireworks would fit into the time scheme, Nordcarn would be about the only place for them, or possibly the gnomes could have a fireworks display whenever we have that second continet put in.
